Designing Your Book Cover

Standard commissions go for $20 for a front and back cover, and a spine.

I do not, and will not, use AI tools or “art” in my designs, instead I welcome incorporating personal or commissioned art into the piece. I also have access to a library of free use images and graphics.

Edits Post-Order (an additional $5 each)

• Color Scheme Change
• Font Change
• Main image (if any) Change

Editing Your Writing

There are a few things I ask all my clients before we start so that we can be on the same page, if you will! 

1. How would you like to share the document?

[In order of my preference & how easy it would be for us both]

• Elipsus (Doc sharing, online, I would be able to leave in-text notes) https://ellipsus.com/ Ellipsus is an anti-ai, queer-owned platform for sharing written works. 
• Word doc (I can use LibreOffice to read it, but notes will be in a separate doc with page numbers)
• PDF (Infernally slow, manual spellcheck, notes are in a separate doc with page numbers)
• Google doc (may be censored due to sharing. The spellcheck is ai-based and therefore abysmal. I would prefer not to use this.) 

1. Would you like a full log of all changes I make for spelling / grammar? (Free Service)
2. Would you like my thoughts on your project, as a reader? (Also a Free Service)
3. My rate is $20 / hour (OR) $15 / 1,500 words, whichever ends up being cheaper for you. Is this rate acceptable?
